GRAEME

Graeme is Miguel's understudy!  He offers the 'Historic' and 'Gaudí & Modernisme' tours on the 'Free Tour' basis; you tip what you think the tour's worth.  The Historic tour is mainly through the Gothic Quarter.  It makes sense of current events that may see Barcelona emerge as the Capital city of a new European country, Catalunya.  He has done 'free tours' for a couple of months with groups from 1 to 40!

Graeme came to Barcelona nearly 10 years ago after finishing his final year at university in Sevilla studying English Literature and Spanish. For his first few years he financed his second residence, a beach towel, working as an extra in films and commercials with market research and customer service thrown in. Eventually, his career as a Barcelona beach bum proved too demanding, and he gravitated towards voluntary work in the field of the humanitarian control of Barcelona's many cat colonies. This is something Barcelona leads the way in and Graeme is currently developing a tourist project to showcase this*, which in turn led him to embracing a career as a tour guide.  He loves the charm and beauty of Barcelona and it's passion for doing things with style. It's walls and buildings tell a great story and he'd love to share it with you.
